Great view from the balcony!

Pros: Good value for money. Even though the bathroom was external, it was private. It’s a nice room feature to have Netflix. A very nice view from the balcony (and the balcony of course). Even though the immediate area isn’t the most appealing, the Palazzo dei Normanni is only 5m away and the cathedral 10m away.

Cons: Because it’s an old building, every sound you make reverberates throughout the whole floor. Similarly, you can hear easily other guests.

Pros: Angela is a great host she made us feel realy wellcomed and comfortable. There was free coffee/tea, Netflix, free parking, nice ballcony They cleaned the room and bathroom the second day.

Pros: Everything was great during our stay. The host was extremely kind, hospitable, and very helpful. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It also had great amenities like Netflix, air conditioning, and an espresso machine. The location was excellent, close to everything we needed. It’s a budget-friendly accommodation that fully justifies its price. We also had breakfast at a nearby bakery, where the croissants were fresh and delicious, and the cappuccino was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Cons: If we really had to point out something minor, it would be the sliding bathroom door, as it doesn’t provide much sound isolation, which can feel a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent location, hospitable staff, worth the price and I would recommend it.

Pros: Coming to Palermo and deciding where to stay was quite a task, but luckily this accommodation was suggested to me. The location is perfect, near the city center, as well as near some of Palermo's attractions. You can easily reach the accommodation location from Palermo Centrale. Breakfast was alright. The staff were amazing and really hospitable and spoke English really well. Definitely worth the price for a stay with a duration of 8 days.

Cons: Most of the things were alright and worth the price you pay for the accommodation. Some guests may find the external private bathroom a problem, but i didn't mind it. Other than that, I would really recommend it to other solo travelers.

Great stay with terrace and close to the city centre

Pros: This accommodation is located really close to the city centre, yet in a quiet location. The room is big, with a small terrace. Great communication with the owner, he personally welcomed us in the accommodation and also gave us a lot of interesting information and tips for visiting the city.

Enjoyable Stay

Pros: The communication from the owner was fantastic. The room was good value for money & clean with a very comfy bed and together with the expresso machine + Netflix this made it an enjoyable stay. Small hiccup on our side but the owner was very understanding. Well worth the money.

Cons: small bit serviceable ensuite bathroom and shower.

This was excellent value for money. Nothing to complain about. Don’t expect luxury.

Pros: After the initial surprise in regards to the area and lift in the building, I realised the host have done a very good job on providing a very comfortable bed a big room and decent stay at a very low cost… plus coffee and tea facilities.

Cons: The area in which is located is quite rundown but after walking around, we realised it is quite close to the centre and better kept areas in the city. Looks like backstreet situation is not nice in Palermo.

Pros: We had an excellent stay at Stella Maris. The room and bathroom was clean and stylish - with a great view from our balcony - and the location is great. Walking distance to all the main sites, near plenty of great bars and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and took time to provide recommendations. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful room, great facilities and excellent host.

Pros: Clean, spacious and room looks like an upmarket hotel room. Great facilities inc tea/coffee making, fridge and Netflix. Host was excellent, met me at 2am to give me the keys and was extremely helpful. Couldn’t be better.

Great budget option in Palermo.

Pros: Convenient location. Great value for money. Easy walk to all the sites in Palermo.

Cons: We were made to wait in a corridor with the light off until the owner arrived to check us in. Once they arrived it was all smooth and they were friendly and helpful.
