Pros: The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, even helped arrange transport to and from the airport. The apartment was spotless and had great air conditioning which helped with the 30 degree heat! Owners were always only a message or call away if we needed them. Only a 20 minute walk from town centre, so was close enough without being too close as the centre can be noisy at night. Couldn't recommend enough, excellent value for money.

Cons: Honestly nothing

Pros: Clean, cozy and baby friendly. The flat is located very convenient, close to the city centre. We enjoyed our stay, the owners were really helpful, keen to help all the time.

Overall outstanding place to stay.

Pros: Great location close to the main shopping street (5 mins walk). Also lots of really good restaurants within 10 mins walk. We joined a city tour on our first full day which meets outside the Opera House which is about 20 mins walk away and this provided lots of local information including places to visit and eat & drink. Also walked to and from Santuario di Santa Rosalia from the property (approx 12 km round trip) and would definitely recommend this.

Cons: We did have a slight problem gaining access initially, as neither of us were able to connect to out networks and you need to do this to get through the first door. It would be much easier if there was a key box with a code.

Great apartment.

Pros: Great apartment with a very comfy bed! We only stayed 2 nights so didn’t use any of the appliances, but it seemed well stocked. There was a large bottle of water in the fridge for us as the tap water was marked as non-drinking water. The apartment was just around the corner from a great coffee bar/gelateria, and was close to the port. It was in a quiet location and we didn’t get any noise from other residents. The owner was able to organise our airport transfer, which was great and made it so much easier to get from the airport.

Beautiful apartment in centre of city

Pros: Beautiful interior. Very clean & comfortable. Had everything we needed.

Cons: Could hear adjoining apartment - thin walls

Palermo is fantastic and SarAle Apartment is a very good starting point.

Pros: The apartment is very clean, with modern furniture and facilities, located in a quiet and safe district, not far from the historical center, close to bus stops (101, 102, 104).

Cons: I don't use a smartphone, so I couldn't read messages on WhatsApp. Maybe hosts should use alternative ways of communication in such circumstances?

Lovely, large airy, tastefully decorated apartment with attentive host, definitely recommend.

Pros: The apartment was large and airy with a big terrace balcony. Everything was new and high quality - lovely soft towels, nice linen, crockery, glasses all really nice. If you walk left out of the apartment within 5 minutes you reach Via del Liberta with high end shops such as Gucci, Hugo Boss, a massive supermarket Familia (under a clothing store), and restaurants. Walk along this lovely street and within 15 minutes you are in the old city. So you have the advantage of a quiet local neighbourhood and proximity to the busy town centre. The host was very attentive and helpful. Note to others unused to this system - the first number you are given in the pdf on Whatsapp is a one-time code to release the front door lock - so only call this number when you are in front of the door and it will open. Then up two flights of stairs there is a lock box and the code for this is also in the pdf - so a two stage system to get the keys.

Cons: When we got the keys the first set did not work! But the host came within 5 minutes and replaced the faulty key set. We were a little worried that there might be noise from the other apartment opposite but it was fine and very quiet. We were very happy to walk into the centre but others may not - definitely walking up to Via Del Liberta makes it a very pleasant walk. The balcony overlooks the back of other apartments across a back alley, so mainly aircon units but this had the advantage that the apartment was quiet at the back and the balcony was really nice to sit out on and there was plenty of space for washing and drying clothes.

Pros: Good location, all tourist attraction are available in 20-30 mins, the apartment was great, it was clean, full of facilities and with a lot of space.

Cons: Bed location - it is in front of AC and sometimes at night it's very cold (but without AC it's impossible to sleep)

Wonderful apartment for a family of 4. Some

Pros: Really clean, very well equipped, the IKEA sofa bed was great as the extra sleeping bed and also relaxing with the family. There was also some excellent restaurants nearby and a supermarket 2 mins away. The bakery next door was a bonus as well. Overall the location was quite good away from the hustle and bustle of old town but be prepared for some walking when visiting that part of Palermo and the Norman Castle and Cathedral.

Cons: The apartment was perfect. The Italian bin collection was complicated and the taxis ripping off tourists not so great but again nothing to do with the apartment.

Pros: Sve je bilo super velika terasa blizu Teatra domaćin ljubazan i uvek dostupan.

Cons: Zgrada nema lift ima dosta stepenika do apartmana.
