Cortile dei Mori

Cute place, recently renovated, good location, lovely hosts,

Pros: A cute apartment that has recently been renovated in a great location within walking distance to the city centre. It has a lovely outdoor porch to enjoy a bottle of wine and look out over the neighborhood. The hosts are lovely people who live downstairs and kind enough to share recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and street food.

Cons: The 57 steps up to the apartment! In saying that, the host had no hesitation in assisting with carrying the luggage up the stairs on arrival and down upon departure. He also advised that he plans to install a luggage pulley system in the future, so that would be of great assistance.

Good location close to the city centre

Pros: Good location within walking distance of the historic centre and many sights. The apartment was well presented, clean and comfortable with a small terrace for afternoon drinks. The bathroom is compact but okay. The owner is very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The wine and treats were a welcome surprise.

Cons: There’s a few flights of stairs (some narrow) because the apartment is on the top floor. Might be a consideration if you have lots of luggage.

A nice place to stay

Pros: It’s a lovely, beautifully renovated place to stay! It’s also very clean. Guiseppe and Annalisa are great hosts, they are super friendly and helpful with everything. They do everything to feel yourself at home. The accommodation is good located and near to the centre. It’s definitely a place to recommend to stay in Palermo!

Amazing

Pros: Cortile dei Mori is a wonderful, fully eqipped and clean apartment that looks even better than in the photos. The hosts are amazing! Upon our arrival they help (a lot) with parking, left us a bottle of wine and bottle of water as a welcome gift. There is also coffee for every morning of your stay. They were very helpful during our stay, they sent us the maps of sightseeing points in the city, restaurants (where locals usually go), pasticcerias and great street food). It made our meal choices a lot easier and also better. The location of the apartment is amazing, just few minutes walking to the Porta Nuova. We would definitely repeat our stay in C. dei Mori!

Pros: This fully renovated apartment boasts a central location near piazza indipendenza. The owners Annalisa and Giuseppe are extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Palermo!

Awesome appartment you n which we would love to stay again
