Pros: I really liked everything — out of the three apartments I rented in Sicily, this one was the nicest. The only downside was that the neighbors were very noisy, shouting outside for a long time — but you can’t choose your neighbors, there are people like that everywhere. The host was perfect — welcomed us nicely even earlier than planned, showed us around, and gave great recommendations.

Decent option in this price range
Pros: Small but comfortable apartment within walking distance of major attractions. The AC, shower and fridge all worked well. The host, Mario, is very kind and helpful.
Cons: The streets around the apartment are dirty and covered in litter and graffiti, although this seems to be common for Palermo unfortunately. The nearby locals were very noisy.

Pros: Mario is a very gentle host. Though he doesn't speak much English, he does make himself understand and is quite nice. The rules are fair and simple to follow. You can see that over time he has been upgrading the house and it is as expected. The cleaning was exceptional, not even at 4 star hotels I've felt a room so clean like this one. The decoration and appliances are simple, but functional.
Cons: The neighborhood and to be honest, the city in general are quite dirty and very very degraded, which makes the experience much more unpleasant. The building itself though with a very simple architecture is well preserved. The decoration is very simple, could be worked on, but I'm being picky here.

My stay as a solo traveller
Pros: For its price, it is perfect. It was really clean. I stayed in a room with balcony, the bathroom was clean. The room has a small kitchen, a fridge and TV. There are other rooms with common entrance, and there is a CCTV in the entrance.
Cons: I just didn't like the neighbourhood there were too much noise, but i think generally Palermo is a loud city.

clean, value for money, nice and flexible host and in a good location
Pros: very friendly hosts and good price for an appartment at a very central location at walking distance from many touristic attractions. I was allowed also to late check out which was really helpful for me
Cons: it's not a luxurious room but this is not what I was looking for so I'm very satisfied overall

Pros: Le logement était très propre, la literie confortable (matelas à mémoire de forme) Le propriétaire est très accueillant et fait un effort appréciable pour parler un peu de français et d'anglais quand on ne parle pas l'italien. Bien placé pour visiter les principaux sites à pied

Soggiorno a Palermo
Pros: Appartamento ben posizionato in centro, in zona mercato del Capo. Sig.Mario molto gentile e accogliente,buon consigliere di locali e punti strategici della città.
Cons: Presenza di alcune formiche all'interno (anche in casa) e all'esterno del palazzo. Dalla doccia fuoriesce un pò di acqua per via del box doccia un pò aperto dalla parte inferiore e dal tubo del doccino.. Per il resto tutto ok!
