Pros: The property is very well located inside of Palermo's historic centre. You can walk everywhere! The apartment feels comfortable but the kitchen lacked utensils for someone that would want to cook.

It is very suitable for two people, I would like to stay here again.
Pros: The accommodation was in a very good location, close to the central station, market, grocery stores and a supermarket and the historic city center, too The apartment is very cozy, although it is located in an old building, it was completely renovated and tastefully furnished. It was very easy to communicate with the host, he was always very kind and helpful.
Cons: There were no problems.

A Historic character apartment
Pros: We love our stay at La Giara,the apartment is in a historic location and you can walk as much as you like, to see street markets, old looking narrow streets, find good restaurants, cafes, the apartment is just near Via Roma so there are plenty of buses ,or walk a little further to reach the train, we did this to visit Celafu a beautiful beach town ship ,with the bus next day change at Central for Mondello beach, and if you like shopping the bus can take you to Della Liberta a more modern area,we enjoy the apartment, it was charming, comfortable ,spacious with a balcony and it was clean with a historic character
Cons: The alley was little hard to locate ,no name on wall,on arrival

Pros: It was probably the best apartment i 've ever stayed in Italy. Impeccably clean, with everything one may need for a short stay, and really beautifully decorated with antiques and Sicilian ceramics. Its tiny balcony let us have our morning coffee as if we were part of Sicily's every day life! The owners were friendly, polite and helpful. La Giara is centrally situated, near the bus/train station but still in the very centre of the city's historic heart and most sights.
Cons: The street area around the building was rather neglected and quite dirty, but this is how most of the neighbourhood (and big part of Palermo) was.

Very good, value for money!
Pros: The place was very good, clean and specious. The old decor and tiny corridor gave the flat a flavour. We felt like in a real Italian old style place that you normally see in movies :). The location was really great, close to the centre of Palermo. The host was very friendly and polite, he called us straight after we arrived, we really felt being taken care. Value for money, recommend it!
Cons: It would be good to 'warm' this place with some rugs in the bedroom and dining area. Other than that all was good.
