Teatro Massimo City Center Apartments

Fantastic stay, great host, clean, perfect for our stay.

Pros: The location was perfect, right in the city around the corner from Teatro Massimo and shopping and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and was well stocked with everything we needed. Our host also allowed us a generous check out time which was much appreciated.

Cons: One small inconvenience with the shower head which was being attended to while we were there.

Clean, modern apartment in a fantastic location.

Pros: Apartment is clean, modern and well appointed. The location was fantastic and so convenient and scenic - our balcony overlooked Teatro Massimo. It was within walking distance to everything! You could also get public transport right in front or a scenic horse and carriage ride! There was paid parking along the street right in front of the apartment and although very busy, we always managed to find a spot. Host was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: We loved the location and suited us perfectly but it was very noisy at night - until early hours of the morning due to the eateries downstairs on the street!

Pros: The location is excellent, the hosts are very kind and extremely helpful, the apartment is clean and modernly furnished. Highly recommended

Pros: Great and central location near the historic center. We had great dinners in the close neighbourhood. We arrived with a car and there are plenty of parking options.

Pros: Nice and clean apartment with great location, if you stay in palermo this is the right choice.

Cons: The parking is tricky but thats Palermo

We loved to live in the city and the apartment was so safe.

Pros: It was a great point in the city so we couldn’t use any public transport to reach everything to visit. We got a nice guide about great restaurants, gelatos, street food places. That was extremly useful and every place was amazing.

Cons: The wifi didn’t work at all. Unfortunately, we had issues with the boiler but is has been repared during our stay.

Pros: Breakfast was not included, but many stores, cafes and bakers around. Excellent location, host very nice. all you need you can find at the apartment.

Cons: Location is great, but since it is in the busiest area of the city it is pretty laud and you cannot open the window during the night because you feel you are almost at the street

Great location

Pros: Centrally located apartment in the historic centre close to all main attractions and plentiful places to eat. We stayed in apartment 1 (two bedrooms, two bathrooms), which was immaculately clean with fabulous balcony views of the Teatro Massimo. Good communication with the host who was there to welcome us and keep us right. We parked in Parking Orlando which was €13 per day, outside the low emissions zone and an 8 minute (straight) walk to the apartment.

Cons: Nothing. Perfect place for a family of 4 to enjoy the city.

Great flat, arrival arrangements were challenging.

Pros: It was located near to a lively area, which suited us and the flat itself was relatively quiet. It was well equipped and apart from slight niggles with the shower (both the overhead and the side shower definitely need repairing) and the waterproof mattress protector (hot), the stay was very comfortable with plenty of space.

Cons: I would have scored 9 or 10 apart from the experience at arrival. Our arrival time had been notified and accepted. There was no-one at the property, nobody answered the phone or responded to texts (the given phone number was the owner and not the person meeting us). Half an hour on a busy street in a new town with luggage and no response from the host, is a long time. Only resolved through the messaging system to the property through Booking.Com (where it says responses can take 24hours!). I would have put this down to something I may have done but the following day, the same thing happened to someone else with even more luggage and little English or Italian. We were in the building and could help them but they were clearly distressed. Hopefully this was a blip and has been sorted.
