Tarzanà 11 apartment - Cala di Palermo

Perfect location in Palermo

Pros: We booked this apartment after a lot of research and we were very pleased - it was just myself and my husband staying there. The best thing has to be the location - it was very quiet at night (and I'm a light sleeper) but we were literally 5-10 minutes walk from the main sites. There is a large supermarket a 5-minute walk away which was open late seven days a week. The area is very safe and there are a lot of little shops and good restaurants very close by and of course the harbour and port which has modern restaurants and shops. On Sundays there is a flea market in Piazza Marina. Wifi speed is very good and there is plenty of hot water for the shower. To summarise - this is an excellent base for a city break to Palermo for 2-4 people and we were very happy for our 5-night stay - thank you.

Cons: The apartment was a good size for just the two of (would be fine for 4 people as both bedrooms are a good size and there are two bathrooms) but I wouldn't recommend it for six people and the sofa bed was rather uncomfortable to sit on. There were two televisions - one in each bedroom but not one in the living area which was a little surprising. As others have commented, the lift was amazingly slow (obviously not the fault of the apartment) but was still very useful to get heavy suitcases up to the apartment.

Pros: Everything was great 👍 Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the stay and the location us perfect. Thanks very much Marco 🙏

A hidden gem!

Pros: A hidden gem. This unit is very central to the buzzing hustle and bustle of Palermo. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for two couples. Checking in was easy and parking was free. A short walk to the grocery store and so many restaurants nearby. Marco was a great host and even left us a few treats.

Good location, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Lovely well located apartment, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Perfect location

Pros: A great apartment with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & comfortable beds. A perfect location for the port and the old town in a quiet street and within a 5 minute walk, you have restaurants & bars. I'm a light sleeper but didn't hear a peep through the night. Marco, the host, is super helpful, will recommend places to visit & is very quick to reply to WhatsApp messages. I 100% recommend booking

Pros: Apartment is in a fantastic location, and has everything you need, apart from something to dry the washing up

Cons: I loved how rustic Palermo is, but the rubbish could put some people off

We thought the location was great 😊

Pros: Location, size of rooms, and host’s willingness to answer any questions.

Cons: The coffee machine was a little complicated.

Pros: Location was great, close to everything. House was clean. Marco the host was absolutely amazing and nothing was a bother. He also organised a private taxi service for us to get from the apartment to airport

Pros: Roomy and comfortable, just above the morning market.

Cons: Parking on the street is only possible in the evenings.

Wonderful

Pros: Comfortable 2 decent bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Decent spacious space that I love. New and clean. I love the sleeping experience. Had a great sleep. I assume mattress is very well chosen.
