Five nights in Palermo

Pros: Roomy apartment, great location, very clean. Had washing machine and large drying rack. Lots of coffee pods. A great helpful host.

Cons: A few more coffee cups and glasses.

Pros: Location . 2 bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Appreciated coffee pods. Loved the balcony overlooking street. Good communication with host. Very helpful

Cons: AC didn't work well in bedroom but it wasn't too inconvenient

Perfect location, fantastic facilities, comfortable room and amazing host.

Pros: You couldn’t find a better location in Palermo if you tried. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that matters in Palermo happens in via Maqueda

Cons: Maybe the pillows could have been better. But otherwise everything was perfect

Loved our stay in Palermo.

Pros: Elisa was lovely and helpful. Good communication before we arrived, she even suggested which bus line to use. She met us at the apartment,showed us around and answered our questions. She also gave us local information on restaurants and places to visit. Apartment is in a brilliant situation with a balcony to sit out and see the hustle of the main city pedestrian way. However inside with the windows shut you can’t hear any noise. air con throughout Loved it

Pros: Private appartment. Local purchase in supermarkets for all meals.

We got lucky in Palermo

Pros: The location of this apartment is just perfect for visiting most of the best sights that Palermo has to offer. It is right at the heart of the bustling main street. We were a little worried that it would be noisy with nearby busy cafes and bars, but the triple glazing keeps most of the noise out. So we weren't disturbed and slept well. Not having been to Palermo before, so not really knowing the best locations to stay, we really felt we had struck lucky with this apartment. Communication with the owners was very good and they have lots of information available about good restaurants etc.

Cons: Nothing really, the apartment was a little dingy, with the morning being best in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked and ate in on a couple of nights. Overall it was clean and fairly well maintained.

Spectacular location

Pros: The apartment is just stunning. It is located in Via Maqueda, the most lively street in the heart of the Centro Storico, with hundreds of restaurants, street food, and bars. The main sightseeing highlights are just within a few hundred meters: Teatro Massimo, Quattro Canti, Cathedral, La Vucciria. The apartment is exceptionally cozy and well-equipped; it's highlight is a small balcony with a small table and a view of the crowd in the street beneath.

Quiet and comfortable apartment in the heart of Palermo

Pros: This is a great apartment to use as a base for exploring Palermo. There is plenty of character inside. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. Most importantly it is super quiet! This is despite the noise outside on Via Maqueda (it is extremely noisy on the street.) You can walk to most areas easily - it is quite crowded on the Via Maqueda, but as soon as you go down the side streets, it is not so crowded. Elisa was a great host and offered many tips for restaurants and things to do. She definitely wants to make her guests stays enjoyable.

Cons: The stairs up to the apartment are steep - nothing Elisa can do, of course, this is just to alert people who have problems with steep steps with luggage.
