Nice stay near the Mondello beach

Pros: Very nice host with lovely family. Leonardo, our host, gave us a lift from and to the airport for an extra 35€. Great location with nearby bakery, supermarket and restaurants. 15 min.a walk to the seaside promenade with the beach, restaurants. 1min.a walk to the bus stop which takes you to the Palermo. Nice terrace with the view. Everything very pleasant. We had a great time.

Cons: Tiny bathrooms and foldable beds in the kitchen. They need to be opened every time. Pans a bit old, requires the exchange. Sofa bed in the kitchen would be a better solution as it was missing during the rainy days.

Lovely little house - great hosts!

Pros: Good location for the beach, but also easy to get in to Palermo city centre. Parking space right outside, as long as you have a small car! Good selection of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Leonardo was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us tips about the area and about travel. He told us to drive to Tommaso Natale train station (10 minutes) where there is a large free car park. From there it's just over 30 minutes into Palermo for 2 euros each way. Drove to Enna (hilltop town) with magnificent views of Etna. Roof terrace was great for watching the moon come up. Bed was nice and comfortable.

Cons: The property is on three floors, with quite steep stairs, which we were aware of in advance. Awkward carrying meals up to the roof terrace. Could be tricky for less-mobile guests. You have to be brave to drive in Sicily - quite stressful at times!

Pros: Lovely house in a friendly neighborhood, 10mins to Mondello Beach, with everything you could possibly need on your vacation. The owner even gave us a lift from and to the airport for a nice fee of 35euros. We loved our time here and would come back again any day!

Very lovely house!

Pros: Very lovely house. The rooftop terrace was a highlight, the kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was very small but had everything we needed. The house is also well located. Near to a bakery, a supermarket and some restaurants. Not far from the beach (10 minutes walking straight down the road) and the stop for the bus to Palermo. The host was super friendly and engaged. He gave us some recommendations, was always available when needed and made sure we haf everything we need. The pictures and description are accurate (only the mentioned barbecue was missing).

Pros: Lovely property, good central location, nice roof terrace and balcony on every floor. Kitchen well equipped. Shops and restaurants nearby.

Pros: Leo and his family are very kind and welcoming people. We felt at home from the first minute. Casetta is brand new, it has a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace on the top floor to enjoy breakfast and dinner, as well as a small terrace on the ground floor. The double bed was comfy, and we slept well. There is a fish shop nearby, as well as Conad, and local tasty pastries, fresh fruits, and vegetables. The nearest beach is ~15min walk away. Knowing the bad weather back in the homeland, we would have gladly stayed another week. Hopefully, we can come visit again next year. Grazie mille!

A lovely house with a view

Pros: The authenticity of the location, the terrace with amazing views, the friendly and welcoming host. The lovely little house was newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Great air-conditioning.

Cons: The house is really only big enough for two adults, max 3. The pull-out beds are in the kitchen and it is very tight once they are pulled out.

Pros: Ottima posizione per raggiungere a piedi la bellissima spiaggia di Mondello, ma comoda anche per recarsi in centro in auto. Casa pulitissima e completamente attrezzata. Leo è stato gentile disponibile e sempre pronto a dare suggerimenti e informazioni utili. La sua bellissima famiglia è il simbolo della cordialità e della disponibilità per le quali sono famosi i siciliani. Ma la vera chicca è Nonna Rosetta, la mamma di Leo: una vera forza della natura! Cordiale, simpatica, piena di storie da raccontare e con un sorriso e una parola gentile per tutti. L'accoglienza che tutti vorrebbero e che noi, da siciliani emigrati, abbiamo accolto come fosse un bentornati a casa.

Cons: Nulla da segnalare.

Pros: Leonardo est un hôte très sympathique et disponible. Nous avons été très bien reçu. L'appartement est bien équipé, très propre.

Cons: La place de parking convient pour un petit véhicule mais à le mérite d'exister.
