Villa Araucaria

We were six adults and five children (7-15 years old). This was absolutely paradise for us.

Pros: We liked everything about the accommodation in the villa. The rooms were great, large facilities and many places to enjoy both outdoors and indoors. The pool was perfect for socializing and playing. We used the outdoor kitchen exclusively, it was great. Comfortable beds and air conditioning. We were six adults and five children (7-15 years old). This was absolutely paradise for us. Close to the airport, lovely beaches and cities and shopping.

A Wonderful Gem!

Pros: What an amazing gem of a find Villa Araucaria proved to be! The large, secure property was perfect for our large family group The extensive garden area was immaculate and the pool area perfect for small children. Giuseppe and his family were there to greet our arrival and proved to be wonderful and attentive hosts, always readily contactable for help or advice. We cannot recommend Villa Araucaria highly enough and hope, one day, we will have the opportunity to return, once more.

Pros: Lovely host who met us at the villa and showed us around, he arranged car hire for us direct to the villa. Absolutely lovely villa, with an amazing outdoor kitchen. Everything you could ever needed was provided and of there was something you needed host on hand. Fantastic and can't wait to go back.

Cons: We couldn't stay longer.

Great outdoor living villa with everything to enjoy a family holiday

Pros: The outdoor facilities are excellent, with large pool, outdoor kitchen/bar, with multiple eating and seating areas and lovely garden spaces. Truly a great place to relax and enjoy a family holiday. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with air conditioning throughout. Laundry facilities are also very helpful. The family owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Cons: You will need a car for this villa. There is a fairly busy road close by, but it didn’t really disturb us. The location however is very close by car to supermarkets, restaurants, the beach is only 10 minutes away and the airport 20 minutes.

Comfy villa for great family holiday, relaxing, outdoor dining and exceptional pool.

Pros: Very welcoming host family. Beautiful gardens and a large swimming pool. Outside bar and cooking area was brilliant plus spacious dining covered/shaded patio. Bedrooms large and comfortable (we didn't use the one smaller room). Annex was great for the kids as both rooms en suite. Garden and pool had great overnight illumination. Host Giuseppe helped us with recommendations and responded quickly if we messaged for advice. Close to supermarkets and restaurants.

Cons: No real problems.

Terrific Villa - ideal for a large group

Pros: Everything. The villa is great - large, clean, bright. The owner (Giuseppe) was very attentive to our needs.. he assisted in making dinner bookings, gave tips on what to see etc. He was almost on a daily basis in touch with me on WhatsApp (not in an obtrusive way). Giuseppe, his parents and granddad also offered to make us a special Sicilian dinner - a wonderful gesture. Giuseppe also responded very quickly. We had an issue with a lock in the bathroom, it was reported and he had a locksmith deal with the issue the very next day. Overall satisfaction is a 100% on both the villa and the service offered.

Cons: The water in the pool was slightly cold for the initial few days.. but that's not really anyone's fault.

Pros: Unglaublich viel Platz. Man konnte alles draußen machen.(kochen, essen, spülen, gemütlich sitzen). Riesiger Pool. Alles war super-sauber. Toller, gepflegter Garten.

Cons: Im kleineren Haus war schlechtes oder fast kein WLAN.

Mooie ruime villa.

Pros: Het buitengedeelte was echt prachtig. Een mooi zwembad, meerdere plekken waar je rustig kunt gaan zitten en een hele mooie buiten keuken!

Cons: Het enigste wat ons tegenviel is dat er een fabriek achter de accommodatie zit en deze maakt sochtends hier en daar behoorlijk veel lawaai. Ook hing er continue een mest lucht welke niet zo aangenaam was.

Pros: Het buitenzwembad, de tuin, comfortabele stoelen en zitjes buiten en de buitenkeuken/bar. Het contact met de eigenaar was perfect. Bij de bar hangen bleutooth speakers dus we konden s'avonds en overdag muziek opzetten.Ik zou het iedereen aanraden als je met een grote groep op vakantie wil gaan.

Cons: Niets eigenlijk.

Verlängerung des Sommers

Pros: Die Außenanlagen sind spektakulär. Haben nur draußen gekocht und zusammen gesessen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt .Giovanni ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Gute Lage, um Ausflüge zu machen. Schnell an der Autobahn und zum Flughafen. Die Straßengeräusche stören nicht. Im Haus sind sie gar nicht zu hören.

Cons: Kleine Abstriche müssen wir bei den schon etwas durchgelegenden Matratzen, den nur einen in die Jahre gekommenen Schrank in dem kleinem Haus und den leider unbrauchbaren Grill machen.
