Pros: Great location, amazing view, fantastic villa, very clean, beautiful trees/flowers with a great pool to cool down or to relax. The villa is gated, very private, just 10 minutes away from downtown Cefalù. Giacomo, the very kind host speaks next to Italian also German. He is from the area and so can provide helpful infos on grocery shopping, restaurants and sites to discover in and around Cefalù and the National Parc of Madonie. We definitely will come back and stay at Giacomo‘s.

Peaceful and relaxing stay in the mountains!

Pros: The views are stunning! Especially the sunsets in the evening. We loved the patio area to enjoy morning coffee or aperitivo in the evening. The pool area was a sun trap and the pool was perfect to cool off. We really enjoyed our time, Giacomo was a fabulous host, could not be more accommodating and friendly!

Cons: There isn’t anywhere nearby you can walk to for dinner which we knew before we came. A car is needed and I think you need to be a confident driver as it is quite steep, but after a couple of times it’s no problem.

Lovely friendly owner who made us welcome.

Pros: This was a great find with a stunning view, we enjoyed the pool and the terrace for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. If you are planning to be out and about in Cefalù, travellers will need a car and be a confident driver on small hilly roads.

The villa, patio areas, pool and the owner were all terrific.

Pros: The owner/host was there to hand over the keys and give us a tour of the property. A fabulous place to stay - villa was clean and contained everything we need. Huge patio areas and the pool was just perfect. A few km outside Cefalu so a car is essential.

Cons: Would have liked comfier pillows - that's it!
