Thoroughly recommend.
Pros: Excellent host. Off street parking. Fabulous view and balcony. Lots of space. Delightful 15min walk to the town centre.
Cons: Bit of a climb up from the road. We still managed it with a bad heart and two new knees. Parking can be tricky with a big car. If its a manual make sure you practice your hill starts.

Loved it !
Pros: The view was stunning, it’s the first reason we booked this house ! House is big, mattresses are wonderful, bathroom are renovated and really great. House has everything you need. It’s a Sicilian charming family house Above all, the best part is Peppe and his wife are amazing. They are kind, smiley and available for anything you need. They also offer to cook a typical Sicilian dinner for their guests, it was absolutely delicious, we have enough to eat for 2 days ! We loved it and I can totally recommend it if you’re not afraid of a few stairs !
Cons: The steep private road to park the car was a bit challenging, it gave us a bit of sweat but hosts are here to help and it definitely worth it when you see the view

Spectacular Views
Pros: Very good position in Monreale, bus stop to Palermo out front. The views from the balcony overlooking the valley to Palermo are breathtaking. One double bed not two. VERY steep driveway, especially for a big car. However the owner, a very kind man, is happy to drive your car up and down so this is not an issue. Definitely recommend this place.

Amazing view, friendly hosts.
Pros: Beppe and his wife were charming and friendly hosts, who provided helpful advice and assistance negotiating the steep driveway, and taking our bags up the many stairs. For us, the challenge of getting up the drive was more than offset by having secure off-street parking. The apartment is quirky but spacious and comfortable with everything you might need. The view over the Conca d'Oro is breathtaking. It is a short walk up a gentle slope to Monreale, and the bus into Palermo stops just outside.

Breathtaking views in a cool vibe
Pros: Very beautiful view over the Palermo area and the sea. Really cute house with retro elements but also quality renovations - very cool. The owners are lovely as well and made us feel like home! We would come back!
Cons: Nothing much really! The kitchen could do with an extra frying pan but thats nitpicking haha.

La Casa Del Nonno a spectacular and wonderful apartment in Monreale. I will be returning here.
Pros: The location is great for those who have a car since LA Casa Del Nonno is right on the border of Palermo and Monreale which makes it super convenient to get to wherever you need to be. It might be a bit more difficult for those without private means of transportation. The staff are a very nice and generous. They were very hospitable and easy to get in contact with for any questions or concerns. The only concern we had was just with the stove as we were unfamiliar with how to get it to work and they quickly came by and showed us.
Cons: This isn't a dislike but simply some caution for foreigners with little experience of driving in Sicily. Those unfamiliar with driving on steep hills, it could be a bit anxiety provoking. I know I was a bit concerned the first time I drove up the driveway but I adapted and got very comfortable with it. There's nothing that can be done about the geography of Sicily and the location. The panoramic view and the hospitality more than make up for this small concern.

Pros: Extraordinary apartment!!! We really really liked La Casa Del Nonno! Spacy and large apartment. After major renovation but still kept the original elegant style of the apartment. The kitchen was more than fully equipped. Since we are vegetarian that was a big plus for us, because most of the times we could cook our meals. Bathrooms were large and spacy, everything very clean and well arranged. Bed was very comfortable. Landry facilities were available too. The place is easy to reach by bus from Palermo. The bus stop was right next to the house. The host was very easy to reach after booking. They were very kind and friendly. Attentive for everything. We were very pleased by our stay in La Casa Del Nonno.

Super Unterkunft um entspannt Sizilien zu entdecken!
Pros: Die Wohnung ist in einer sehr guten Lage mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf Palermo, das Meer und das Umland. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, es mangelt einem nicht an Küchengegenständen, Geschirr oder Ähnliches. Durch die Lage am Berg sind die Temperaturen in der Wohnung auch im Hochsommer super angenehm, sodass man es auch ohne Klimaanlage aushalten kann. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den netten Vermieter. Der Vermieter hat uns leckeres typisch sizilianisches Essen angeboten und uns während des Aufenthalts gelegentlich mit leckeren Kleinigkeiten überrascht. Bei Fragen war er rund um die Uhr erreichbar und hat uns auch sehr unterstützt sich in Sizilien zurecht zu finden, sei es bei Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten, Restaurants oder Locations, als auch bei medizinischen Zwischenfällen. Seine eigene Aussage er sei unser bester Freund auf Sizilien hat er voll und ganz erfüllt! Vielen Dank hierfür!

Pros: L’accueil et la gentillesse de Nono, la grandeur de l’appartement, la propreté. Bref tout est là pour passer un super séjour. À proximité avec le centre village permet d’aller à pied.
Cons: L’accès au parking sous l’appartement se fait par une route pentue. Nous voyageons en vanne, nous avons réussi à le mettre là-haut, mais nous n’avons pas tenu à reproduire l’expérience.
