Ideal place to enjoy a relaxing break or as a base to explore Sicily.

Pros: The location is quiet and beautiful, overlooking a small fishing harbour. There’s a walk around the peninsula from the door. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the train station and good connections to the airport, Palermo and beyond. The property is spacious, well equipped and clean. The owner was quick to answer any questions.

Good location in a little fishing village

Pros: Good location, the little village comes to life at night.

Cons: Washing machine was a challenge, some shade over the front balcony would be nice.

Exquisite

Pros: The ambiance, decor, cleanliness and view was mind-blowing. Amazing restaurants and markets very close.

Cons: Nothing. It was 10/10

Overall were were very impressed with the Guilio's home and the view was stunning.

Pros: The location was very nice with a great view. The facilities were very good, The beds were very comfortable.

Cons: The kitchen would benefit from a toaster, particularly as the left hand side of the grill doesn't work. Also we were unsure how tom deal with rubbish. We were not sure how to dispose of general rubbish that did not fall into one of the categories labelled on the bins.

Pros: Great location,easy to walk to town/beaches, dishwasher and washing machine a bonus with kids!

Modern apartment with nice balcony

Pros: Lovely, modern apartment. We really enjoyed watching the people and activities from the balcony, especially the fishermen. We experienced the location as not very touristic, which we think is a plus. The outside furniture is a modern table with 4 chairs, more comfortable than the yellow furniture as shown on the photos. We really enjoyed having breakfast outside in the morning sun! Modern bathroom with great shower and water pressure. Shops and restaurants within 5-8 minutes walking distance.

Cons: There is no sunshine on the balcony at the end of the day, as the balcony faces eastside. But that's no big issue of course, you can enjoy the morning sun.

A very comfortable flat that provided a good base for exploring the west end of Sicily.

Pros: A well equipped property in a great location. Good access by car to the local airport.

Cons: I arrived at the property with no idea how I would get access. As it turned out family members were there who were very welcoming and informative, and as a result we had no problems. Airbnb always provide access information before your arrival time and I consider this to be an essential requirement; in future I will not be using Booking.com for access to properties. Isola delle Femmine is a working town, rather than a holiday destination. This was not a problem for us, but could be for some people.

Lovely holiday home with great views across the harbour

Pros: Beautiful holiday apartment. Comfortable, clean, well equipped apartment with great views across the fishing harbour. Good communication with the owner, who was always quick to respond to any messages. Lovely location.

Cons: The seating on the balcony wasn't comfortable. Otherwise everything was great.

Pros: Clean, good neighbourhood, quiet. Apartament is modern but with soul.

Cons: Only complainer can find something.

We had a fabulous 4 nights in this lovely apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Pros: A beautiful well equipped apartment with fabulous views in a great location. The apartment is just a 5 minute walk into the town centre, which is well served with friendly cafes, restaurants and local shops, there’s also a busy little market on a Thursday. We enjoyed a walk to the nearby beach, this takes approximately 15 minutes, here you will find free beaches and areas of rocks to swim from or sunbathe on as lots of locals do, or if you walk a little further there are a good choice of beaches where you pay for a lounger and parasol, these also have toilets, showers and cafes. We really enjoyed our time spent here. We travelled by train and walked to the apartment from the train station.

Cons: Only a minor thing, but a full sized kettle would be good, as the one supplied is more like a travel kettle. Also maybe provide a folder with local information in.
