Pros: Very clean, well stocked and an amazing location. We were extremely happy with our 2 night stay in Aspra (Bagheria).

Cons: The stairs were an obvious negative, but we came expecting this.

Best stay on our 2 week stay in Sicily

Pros: The apartment was great. It had everything we needed and everything worked well. The views were stunning and we could even buy fresh fish straight from the fishermen just in front of the apartment in the mornings. Parking also went well for us, but is not anything they promise.

Cons: The stairs are not to people who have problem with legs. The host helped us with luggages upstairs.

Nice authentic Sicilian fisherman village for a tranquil stay.

Pros: Nice location, across the road from the beach/ fisherman area. Very kind host, they solved a problem with the keys rapidly and took me back to the train station.

Cons: The village was nice for a day or two, but there were nicer beaches farther away. The pillow was a bit hard and too thick. But these are details. Very nice calm stay.

Pros: Soddisfazione assoluta. Jack ci ha aspettato come concordato, ci ha spiegato tutto e ci ha fornito molte informazioni utili. La casa è pulita e arredata in modo da farti sentire a casa. I proprietari non hanno davvero dimenticato nulla. Dalla terrazza si gode di una splendida vista sul porto di Aspra con il lavoro dei pescatori locali. Ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio e torneremo sicuramente.

Pros: Es war ein total besonderes Erlebnis, direkt mit Blick auf den wunderschönen Hafen von Aspra zu wohnen. Man kann einfach stundenlang den Fischern zusehen. Sicher der schönste Ausblick auf unserer Sizilienrundreise! Es war gemütlich und die Küche sehr praktisch und mit allem ausgestattet. Die Gastgebegin hat an alles gedacht, um es den Gästen bequem zu machen. Vor allem war es supernett, dass sie für den Transport vom und zum Bahnhof in Bagheria gesorgt hat, der zufuß 30 Min entfernt ist. Trotz nicht so hoher Temperaturen im Februar war es mit Klimaanlage zum Heizen sehr angenehm, viele leckere Restaurants in der Nähe und eine Bäckerei, die Sfincione mit Ricotta, Zwiebeln und Fisch nicht von dieser Welt macht! Auch im Winter ist hier fast alles offen, eine lebendige Community - anders als viele andere Orte am Meer. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

OTTIMO SOGGIORNO peccato un po' troppo breve, causa rientro....

Pros: Antica casa di pescatori completamente rinnovata e restaurata. Monolocale di ampia metratura, arioso e luminoso, ben arredato e con oggetti sparsi che si richiamano al sottostante blu del mare. Un grande balcone si apre sulla splendida vista dell'ampia conca marina e della sua costa ricca di variopinte barche da pesca con sullo sfondo il lontano profilo della città di Palermo. Aspra è un borgo che ci rimanda al ricordo di tanti altri bei tempi andati. Molto trafficata nei giorni di festa (per la vicina Palermo) ma deliziosa e vivibile in altri periodi più tranquilli dell'anno.

Cons: L'unica cosa un po' più difficile da affrontare è la lunga e stretta scalinata per salire e scendere dall'appartamento. Ma tant'è!!! E' la caratteristica di queste vecchie case marinare dei nostri progenitori: alte e strette... Una sola cosa da sottolineare: il GRADINO (trabocchetto) in bagno. Un po' alto e poco visibile, ci si inciampa spesso... (specie all'inizio). Sarebbe opportuno segnalarlo con una semplice striscia adesiva Bianco/Rossa.
