B&B Giardino dei Cedri

Our hosts were extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: Breakfast was cooked to order, using some local produce. Not huge in quantity but a nice selection and delicious. Fresh croissants - filling chosen the day before - also delicious. Other breakfast items in the kitchen area included cereal, juice, fruits, cake etc. Freshly made coffee. Our room had a spacious private balcony with a clear view of the sea (and the rising moon) across the lemon grove. A road went between these but was not busy and didn't bother us. Our hosts allowed us to arrive early and were pleased to welcome us to their establishment of which they are justifiably proud.

Cons: Nothing could have been improved, it was all lovely.

Lovely traditional BnB in Trabia

Pros: We liked the overall aesthetics of Giardino dei Cedri. The villa and gardens were beautiful and we liked the traditional feel of the place. The location was close to Trabia and had a lovely view of the ocean. The rooms were very clean. We loved the terrace off the room too. It was very peaceful.

Cons: The bed wasn’t very comfortable - the mattress was very old. We also found that breakfast ended too early - we were told we needed to be at breakfast by 9.10am.

Pros: The sea view and the orchard garden are beautiful. Strategic location between Palermo and Cefalù. Great selection of the breakfast and very tasty. The room is clean and well maintained. Warm and welcoming hosts. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day!

Pros: The room was very spacious with loads of space. The veranda was nice and also big to relax. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The views were amazing. Very close to town by walk and the station. The breakfast and amenities provided were really great and accommodating.

Cons: There’s nothing we didn’t like. The only thing is that you definitely need a car when in Trabia or anywhere in Sicily.

Wonderful stay with kind and thoughtful hosts

Pros: The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They kindly allowed us to check in early and welcomed us with coffee and fresh fruit waiting for us in the fridge – such a lovely gesture! The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. Behind the house, there is a beautiful cedar garden. The beach is within walking distance, which was a big plus for us. Every morning, they prepared an excellent breakfast with freshly baked croissants, scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, and more. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return!

Pros: A very lovely, quiet place with a host that communicated often with us and made sure we had everything we needed! We really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: It’s in a prime area near the beach. Garden full with trees and flowers. Cleanliness Breakfast made with some home grown items.

Pros: the welcome by the host was very warm. The room (Limone) was specious and had a lovely terrasse with view over the garden. The breakfast was exceptional - hugh buffet with sweet and savoury food. The eggs were made fresh and according to your wish. The weather was nice, so we had breakfast on the terrasse with view to the sea. The host and his familiy are very, very attentive and you feel immediately at home. Very high recommended!!!

Great stop 40 minutes from Palermo ferry.

Pros: Wonderful, warm welcome from the hosts, clean spacious room with fridge and balcony overlooking the sea. Gated secure parking and great breakfast.

Cons: The building is not sound proof so local dogs barking in the night may disturb lighter sleepers.
