La Balestra B&B

Good to visit

Pros: Breakfast was offered in a caffe across the street

Pros: My stay in magical Balestrate was restful, relaxing and comfortable. Biaggio is a wonderful host - welcoming, generous and trustworthy. He gave several great recommendations, such as car hire and also provided a free parking space. All supplies are conveniently near (farmacia , fruit, pescheria, Conad...) and Balestrate is a perfect peaceful base for exploring this beautiful area of Sicilia - as well as it being a paradise on its own, with stunning beaches and views that I will never get tired of staring at. I would not hesitate to come back.

Pros: Our host Biaggio was very pleasant, prepared delicious breakfasts, and gave us lots of good advice about trips, beaches, etc. The view from his dining room is simply breathtaking. We also really appreciated the parasols, which he makes freely available to his guests.

Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Pros: The host is very kind and helpful. The stay has all necessary things especially hair dryer was useful. He arranged the best breakfast and suggested some good restaurants. I highly recommend this place for a stay.

Cons: Nothing as such!!

Pros: Wonderful stay at this hotel for 3 nights in Balestrate! The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home and offering great tips for exploring the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Excellent location and lovely owner

Pros: The B&B is only a 10 or 20 minute walk to two of Balestrates beaches and has plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are airy and have good air-con and WiFi. Breakfast in the room upstairs overlooking the ocean was lovely. The owner was very accommodating - checked us in at midnight and took us to the airport. A great place to base yourself.

Cons: The road outside the hotel is very busy and noisy. It didn't keep us up too much though as the hotel as good glazing and shutters.

Lovely B&B and the owner, Biaggio, was very helpful and recommended places to visit.

Pros: Breakfast was nice with an assortment of Italian pastries and lovely coffee.

Cons: The mattress was fine but could have been more comfortable. The walls are thin so could be noisy if the next door guests are loud or have children.

Pros: Very good owner. He provided us everything what we needed, even his kitchen for preparing our dinner 🙂.

The best place in Balestrate. 5******. Very friendly

Pros: The property is in a great location and very clean. The facilities are good. More importantly, the owner Baigo, is the best! He helped us with everything - where to eat, what restaurants were good. And everybody knew him. He speaks perfect English.

Cons: Nothing.

Breakfast with a view

Pros: Warm welcome from the host. Tastefully furnished room. Super comfortable bed. I slept like a little baby. Quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast offers everything your heart desires and even a little more....this view of the sea. A good start to the day. Short walk to the centre. Thanks for all the interesting information. I had a great time.
