Villa della Mimosa

Lovely lodge

Pros: Lovely views, comfortable sitting area. Meal option was excellent.

Cons: Heating system was noisy and disrupted my sleep.

Staying at the Villa was a peaceful and refreshing end for the week, and I can't wait to return.

Pros: The villa is in the most beautiful location imaginable. The scenic overlook of the valley and view of Alia are the best way to wake up in the mornings. The dogs Diego and Gino quickly became close friends, and the proprietor and his wife were very welcoming and cordial. They made sure that my stay was comfortable and that I was cared for.

Cons: The only difficulty for me was that the heat of the evening demanded that I keep the windows open which meant I heard the coyotes and dogs all night. The only way to change that would be to add air conditioning, but this is my own fault for coming at the hottest time of the year.

Our stay at Villa Mimosa was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Pros: We liked everything about Villa Della Mimosa. From the moment we arrived the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The property was located in one of the most beautiful areas we have ever visited, and the views were amazing. Shortly after we arrived, we were welcomed with wonderful homemade wine and some afternoon snacks - exactly what we needed after our long journey. We were able to spend some time with Carlo and Lena talking about the town of Alia, where our grandparents were born. We woke up the next day to a delicious breakfast and spent some time just being lazy around the property. We had no idea that Carlo was an award winning chef until we experienced our first dinner at villa mimosa. We can’t wait to stay at this property again as soon as possible. We would highly recommend it to all of our friends and relatives.

Cons: We honestly cannot think of anything that could have been done better.

Tolle Gastgeber, tolle Unterkunft, tolle Zeit! Danke!

Ospitalità eccellente in ambiente silenzioso

Pros: Ambiente molto bello con stanza ampia e silenziosa. Letti comodi. Gentilissimi e cordialissimi i proprietari Lina e Calogero.

Cons: assolutamente nulla, tutto è profumo di Sicilia!
