Pros: Our stay at Marku’s House in Palermo was fantastic! The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Palermo, making it easy to walk to all the major sights and soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Elio, who was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the apartment and the area. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to all the little comforts that make a stay enjoyable. Elio went above and beyond by leaving us coffee, wine, and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch—we’re so grateful for that! Markus House is a gem for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Palermo. Highly recommend!

Great location in old town, clean apartment and very friendly host.

Pros: Great location in the middle of the old city. Thank you for extra drinks, coffee and snacks. Everything was great :)

Cons: WiFi coverage was a bit limited.

Pros: The host Elio was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The property is spacious and more charming in person than the photos. The location couldn't be any better- 5-10 minutes walk to nearly everything and yet secluded and quiet. Just a great place to stay.

Cons: The only thing I'd change is the bed. It is VERY bouncy, so whenever either my wife or I would move/shift in bed, the other one would feel it. A new mattress might be in order.

Stay at Marku's House in Palermo

Pros: Our stay at Marku's house started off with a very warm welcome from our host Elio. Like many other reviews say he is a great host. The apartment itself is quite spacious with separated sleeping and dining area plus a great big bathroom. I really appreciated having a washing machine as well! The kitchen is pretty good but left a little to be desired in terms of knife quality. The coffee machine worked well and we were provided with not only complimentary coffee but also, wine, beers, bottled water and more! Two balconies is nice for looking out but also hanging clothes. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels provided were nice and clean. The location is close to pretty much everything in the middle of Palermo.

Cons: Have to pay in cash on check-in. Keep this in mind before getting there. The bedroom area could get a little dark as the window there is a little small. Had to wait there to check in, this was fine for us but may be more inconvenient for others. These are very minor troubles though.

We really reccomend Marku's House for both shorter and longer stays in Palermo!

Pros: Elio welcomed us like guests in his house! Also, thanks to his hospitality, our stay in Palermo was so nice. The apartment is located in the city centre. You can easily reach all important places in Palermo. Air-conditioning works very well, so the apartment was like a shelter from the heat. The interior design was interesting too. Only positive thoughts about this place!

Uitstekende prijs/ kwaliteits verhouding op een locatie midden in het centrum.

Pros: Toplocatie, alles binnen loopafstand te bereiken, eten, drinken, bezienswaardigheden. Host verzorgde informatie over restaurants te bezoeken, bezienswaardigheden, etc.

Cons: Bestek, borden hadden in een iets groter aantal aanwezig mogen zijn !

Perfekt, um Palermo zu erkunden.

Pros: Die Wohnung hat die perfekte Lage, um Palermo zu erkunden. Alle Märkte sind fussläufig erreichbar, viele Restaurants und ein gut sortiertier Supermarkt sind direkt um die Ecke. Dennoch ist es nachts angenehm ruhig, nur die üblichen Stadtgeräusche. Die Klimanalage ist gold wert in der heißen Sommerzeit. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Elio ist sehr freundlich, antwortet umgehend auf alle Fragen und hat auch eine Menge gute Tipps parat.

Pros: L' appartamento è grazioso e curato, c'era tutto il necessario...come essere a casa! La posizione è strategica per raggiungere in pochi minuti, tutte le zone del centro di Palermo. È vicino via Maqueda e il teatro Massimo, ma fuori dal caos della movida, in una via seppur vicina, molto tranquilla. Dalla camera si sentiva suonare il violino ( esercitazione di una vicina del palazzo di fronte) molto piacevole, creava una atmosfera suggestiva. Elio molto professionale, gentile e disponibile!
