Giù a Palermo

Very clean and neat with all equipments and very close to the center

Pros: The house was very neat and comfortable! 20 min to the train station and 15 to the center. Pretty calm neighbourhood with all necessities and the host was very nice and attentive to all our requests.

Cons: Nothing much honestly. There was no Washing machine but there’s a washing station located barely at 4 minutes on foot so very practical.

Best place to enjoy Sicilian life. Clean, comfortable and friendly.

Pros: The apartment has every facility that is needed for a pleasant stay in Palermo. It is close to the metro/train, a great supermarket and the best bar in Palermo. It is important that there is an elevator (4th floor!) too. The view from the small balcony is great, moreover, wet clothings can be dried there as well. The owner is the best host I have ever met, I warmly advise anybody to stay in Giuseppe's apartment.

Cons: The streets around are rather dirty, but this is typical for this area, unfortunately. The traffic noise is significant but windows can be closed and so it can be kept outside.:) Non of these are the faults of the owner.

Pros: Staying at Giú a Palermo truly added a lot to the amazing experience in Sicily. The flat suited all our needs: spacious rooms, fully-equipped kitchen ( salt, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and the list goes on), extra necessities in the living room like sunscreen, band aid, safety pins etc... anything that might make your stay better. The bathroom was spot on with freshly washed towels, no extra charge (unlike in many parts if Italy). The historic centre is a few minutes away on foot, there is also a proper Conad supermarket nearby that you can always pop into for fresh groceries. Parking in the street is for free and there were spaces available at any time of the day. The host was really helpful and always available on Whatsapp.

Cons: It was perfect. This flat made our holiday perfect.

Great value for money in a nice location

Pros: The host is great and very attentive. It was very easy to communicate with him. The apartment is in a great location - just an easy walk to the most important landmarks. It was very quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked amazingly well (we worked in the apartment). The supermarket and a great patisserie are close. There are two air-conditioners which also have a heating function so if anyone goes in winter (like we did), you will be more than fine.

Cons: The towels were not comfortable, seemed constantly wet. It would be great to have a knife in the apartment. However, for this price the place is really amazing.

Great place to stay for the discovery of exciting Palermo.

Pros: It was possible to check in late at night. The flat is perfect for 1-2 persons, even for 4, if needed. The owner is a great guy, very helpful and polite. Everything is close, the sightseeing spots of this historical city and train stations to travel far. The 4th floor provides a spectacular view of the city (there is an elevator!) and the small terrace makes one feel like a real Sicilian:). Great Bar Massaro is nearby to eat any time and Conad supermarket as well to buy anything.

Cons: The surrounding street area is not clean, the elevator is slow, but these actually do not matter and cannot be influenced by the owner of the flat, of course.

Really, really worth visiting!

Pros: I could to feel real Palerno atmosphere live there. The host were incredible kind and helpfull. Very clean apartment, equipmentef for everything you need, not so far to Palermo must visit points. Reccommend pannineria opposite the street open till 1am, delicious sandwiches they have. Mondello beach, Cefalu, Monreale are amazing. Reccomend this place from my heart.

Cons: What for to write?? Every country, region has something we love.

Loved the proximity to everything!

Pros: The host Giuseppe was so gracious. He contacted me each day for first few days to make sure everything was alright for me. The instructions he sent me for access to the apt were precise & left no guesswork for me. He had left lots of hygiene supplies and essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar salt etc.

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect for me.

Pros: Ich war in diesem Appartement 31 Tage im Oktober. Ziel meiner Reise war Italienisch an der Uni zu lernen. Und es war perfekt. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichbar. Sauber, gutes Bett und sehr freundliche, liebevolle Betreuung. Ich war sehr zufrieden und werde es weiter empfehlen.

Pros: Świetny stosunek ceny do jakości oraz lokalizacji. Gospodarz bardzo pomocny. Czuliśmy się zaopiekowani podczas pobytu. Mieszkanie w pełni wyposażone. Blisko zarówno do stacji kolejowej jak i centrum miasta. Przed przylotem dostaliśmy dokładne instrukcje i nie mieliśmy żadnych problemów z zakwaterowaniem.

Ubytování určitě doporučuji, velmi dobrá poloha, dobré vybavení, výborná komunikace s majitelem.

Pros: Ubytování se nachází v docházkové vzdálenosti od hlavního nádraží, což jsme velmi ocenili při příjedu i odjezdu vlakem na letiště, cca 20 minut pěšky na nádraží i do centra, balkon s výhledem na Palermskou katedrálu. Apartmán se nachází v domě s výtahem, je čistý, dobře vybavený pro vlastní vaření. V těsné blízkosti se nachází dobře zásobený supermarket pro nákup potravin. Na hlavní ulici v okolí je spousta malých bister nebo kaváren, kde je možné ochutnat místní street food. Tržnice Ballaro s velkým výběrem ovoce, zeleniny, suvenýrů a local street food se nachází cca 10 minut od ubytování a lze jí projít příjemnou procházkou do centra Palerma. Klimatizace v apartmánu byla velkou výhodou. Majitel byl velmi komunikativní, před příjezdem poskytl včas potřebné informace k jednoduchému check-in a během pobytu byl stále v kontaktu a dal nám potřebné rady i tipy na zajímavé turistické cíle v Palermu a okolí. Byli jsem velmi spokojeni a děkujeme majiteli za jeho pohostinnost.
