Casamartú Apartment

Nice, charming unit

Pros: Location and host. Property is a delightful remodel of an old building. Not for those who dislike stairs, but well worth it for those who do not mind 2 flights, plus one more in the unit. Spacious, 2 baths, 3 decks/balconies and a very helpful host. Well equipt for a several day stay. We stayed 5. Close to the cathedral and roger's castle. Lots of restaurants within an easy walk.

Tremendous property in Palermo. Salvo was a gent and everything couldn’t have been better. We loved Palermo and this apa

Pros: The design, cleanliness, the contents, the balconies, the upstairs roof terrace, the location. Absolutely everything tbh

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: Super apartment located a few hundred meters from the cathedral Salvo was very helpful. Close to everything. We will definitely come back there. We recommend this place to anyone heading to Palermo

Great family getaway in Palermo

Pros: Clean, comfortable, cozy, had everything we needed. There was a booklet (which the owner also sent by chat) full of advice of where to go and eat, plus practicalities like numbers for taxi drivers and the like. Owner was very cordial and helpful. Bed and pillows were perfect. Position was great, we walked everywhere. Would definitely go again.

Cons: Some neighbour had a party on Saturday and there was loud music playing until well into the night. (To be fair - it did not bother much, we were in party mood too.)

Palermo turned out to be a culturally charming city with good people and great food.

Pros: We liked how the host Salvo provided us with very good advice and assistance in travelling on the island. We loved the charm of the neighbourhood and the proximity to the historic area of Palermo.

Cons: Being from Canada, WhatsApp is not used as much as in Europe so it would be good to have the app setup from your home location as it is fickle when your service provider is from your home country. Makes booking and communicating locally more efficient.

Lovely

Pros: Lovely host, everything and anything you could possibly need, and more, is in that apartment.

Cons: Leaving

Pros: We had an amazing 4-night stay in Palermo! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk from the cathedral and many other attractions. Salvo, the owner, was fantastic. He provided us with plenty of great tips. He was always easy to reach and quick to help when we had a small technical issue, even going the extra mile by bringing delicious pastries one morning! A wonderful experience overall – we highly recommend staying here! Bruno and Chris

Warmly recommended to various kind of travellers to feel comfortable and welcome.

Pros: The apartment was very nice, comfortable and clean and included everything promised. The host was pleasant and nice and helped with any concerns. There are some grocery shops nearby. Tourist attractions and shopping streets are within walking distance.

Cons: The location was otherwise good, safe and close to everything, but it was also dirty, and the smell of rubbish was around the corner.

Excellent apartment in the middle of Palermo

Pros: The apartment was excellent, well-located, just a short walk from the Cathedral. Salvo was very helpful throughout, including with advice on places to visit and helping us to organise a taxi for our departure.

Cons: Don't think there was anything specific. We were very well hosted.

Clean, Bright Stylish apartment. Great host.

Pros: Thankful for the early check in. The host's nephew met us and explained everything clearly and patiently. Very stylish decoration of the apartment. Centerly location yet in a quiet and safe neighborhood. (the police station is very closed.
