Palermo Centro - I Pastelli di Van Gogh

Great!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in Palermo! The apartment is small but cozy and perfectly located in the city center. The neighbors were very friendly, which made us feel at home right away. Our host was incredibly kind, always easy to reach, and even left us a thoughtful little gift at the end of our stay – such a lovely gesture! Everything was smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable. Highly recommend! It was definitely a 10/10 experience. :))

Good location, great apartment and superb host.

Pros: The appartment was exactly as described and therefore fulfilled all our needs. The host was superb, probably the best Booking. com host that I have experienced.

Great experience

Pros: Everything was great! First of all, even before we came the host offered us the possibility to check-in much earlier that was very nice from their side. 1. The location of the apartment was very close from the city centre 2. The communication with the host was excellent 3. It was very easy to get keys form the key-box 4. There were a lot of extra things at the apartment which was very nice from the host side:) Thanks for the nice experience in the city! :)

Great location close to everything

Pros: We had 2 nights here, great location and the host Davide was extremely friendly. He saved a perfect parking spot for us (parking is hell to find in Palermo). Flat was clean and walking distance to centre, port, nice restaurants and cafes nearby. There was free espresso in the room, and a little kitchen to make tea or breakfast. A very nice stay!

Pros: It is a very nice, well-equipped, stylish little apartment. We highly appreciate the spaciousness of the living room, the comfortable bed and the larger shower by local standards. The host was incredibly friendly, we were in constant contact via whatsapp and he always gave us immediate advice on everything. The accommodation is a short distance from the center and the port, it is easy to park near it. Shops with basic necessities start in the next street. We can really only recommend this accommodation.

Cons: The apartment is on the ground floor of a typical local street. You can't see anywhere from it and it only has small windows to the yard. But here at booking, no one promised us any view, so it's actually completely fine. Teenagers play on the street mainly in the late evening hours, so it's not completely quiet there. It doesn't matter, it's just a good thing to expect. The streets are typical of Sicily, don't expect grass and clean sidewalks, or perhaps a beach resort... you'll simply experience Palermo as it is up close. That's not a complaint, on the contrary, that's why people come here.😉

Incredible!

Pros: We had a brilliant time! Davide was extremely helpful and welcoming. We arrived really late as our flight was delayed and he was really accommodating. The facilities were excellent, would definitely stay again!

Beyond exceptional service and accommodation.

Pros: This accommodation and its hosts were beyond exceptional. From even before we had arrived, they kept in contact and were helping us manage our arrival and stay. The accommodation was clean, safe, and well equipped. I stayed there with my 2 daughters, and there was plenty of room for us all to be comfortable. It is just a short walk to the centre of Palermo and also very close to the port, a Conad supermarket, pizzeria, and other useful shops. We were only in Palermo for 2 nights and then went to Catania for a further 3 nights. My only regret is that we didn't spend the entire 5 nights in Palermo at Pastelli di Van Gogh.

Pros: Davide was a fantastic host! The apartment was perfect for a city stay and well located in a very vibrant and fun city. Would definitely visit again! Thank you!

Expectations exceeded

Pros: The affordability, the comfortability, the air conditioner, the nice shower, kitchen and all the utensils. Very kind and responsive owner.

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: The room was very clear and has everything that we want for our accommodation ( like coffee). Davide the owner is very pleasant person and he helped us to find parking for our car because was Sunday. The room is very near to the historical city center ( 8 minutes from Vucceria).

Cons: Αlthough we didn't have any problem, the neighborhood seems a bit dangerous.
