Palazzo Planeta

Wonderful spacious apartment in a lovely area of an exciting city.

Pros: Fantastic apartment - very spacious and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Had a fully functioning kitchen, a washing machine and a huge lounge/dining room to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Cons: The main bedroom faces the street which meant that it was a bit noisy (we were there over the weekend) and there seemed to be some local car races in the early hours of the morning - not the fault of the property but disruptive none the less. We might have just struck a bad weekend.

Great base for exploring Palermo - just beware the parking challenge!

Pros: Brilliant location with in easy walking distance of the old city. apartment was well designed and comfy Be aware that the inside apartments are just that and have windows that look out onto the walls of surrounding buildings with little natural light. However - that also means they are very peaceful and quiet!

Cons: Parking!! An absolute nightmare, you just have to circle round and round and round hoping against hope that you find a spot and don’t get clattered by the crazy Palermo drivers! The website mentions a communal “convivial kitchen” available to guests but we didn’t really find it very approachable so i think it’s more of a meeting room

Fantastic

Pros: Excellent location with a spacious and very clean apartment. Easy to follow instructions to get into the apartment. Complimentary wine was excellent . Highly recommend

A great place to stay - stylish, comfortable and excellent location.

Pros: The location was perfect. On a pedestrianised street with several restaurants and bars but far enough from the centre to be quiet and relaxed. An easy walk in to the main sights.

Pros: Almost everything! Lovely soap/shampoo/conditioner. Wines.

Cons: No bed headboard in double room. Bit noisy.

Excellent accommodation within good reach of city attractions.

Pros: Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was well located in terms of access to the city’s sites but it was quite noisy; they thoughtfully provided earplugs. Hosts were very helpful. Restaurant next door provided an excellent breakfast and there were lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Tea and coffee making facilities and complementary wine. Convenient for airport bus.
