Pros: Lovely and comfortable apartment with a pleasant terrace (shared with other apartments). Brilliantly situated within about 5 minutes walk from the cathedral. Great communication wirh owner. Recommended

Cons: Be aware that the stairs in our apartment were very steep up to the sleeping area. Also many steps down from street level to apartment.

It was a clean and bright apartment and the location worked even though we didn’t have a car.

Pros: Was cute looking with a nice shared patio Was a walkable distance to many areas

Cons: Too many steps down from street level door to reach the advertised ground level apartment Not suitable for a disabled person The apartment was very damp and many mosquitoes

Ideal base for seeing Palermo

Pros: Supermarket fairly close by. The apartment is very central so convenient. Hosts were helpful.

Cons: Quite a lot of city noise in the mornings. Car parking was not easy, had to pay eur15 per day

Perfect location, comfy place, lovely hosts but some facilities could do with some improvements ;)

Pros: Great location, with a yummy arancini place very close by! Good and easy communication with the host + the person checking us in was lovely and gave us recommendations and a map. Comfy bed + it was very considerate that oil, salt and pepper were provided.

Cons: the below didn’t really bother us too much as we were out of the place most of the day exploring the city but it did make it a bit inconvenient at times & they’re just things that can be improved on: waterfall shower didn’t work; on the last morning there was no warm water in the shower, maybe this is something that could have been easily fixed as I’m sure Gaia would be quick to respond but we were in a rush; lighter for the stove was empty but thankfully we had our own! ; ceiling lamp in the bedroom was barely hanging on; wifi signal not very strong but worked most of the time; even though there’s nets in the windows, they weren’t properly attached and we got bitten during the night; underground train goes close by and we could hear/feel it going but it never woke us up and apart from that it was very quiet

Pros: Excellent apartments just outside of the heritage area; quiet and clean, very responsive host and easy walk (<10 min) to the main sites and to train station.

Really lovely stay- the large group of us all had a wonderful time- thank you Gaia!

Pros: Beautiful apartments, had everything we needed. The host was extremely efficient in helping us with any problems we had, and her colleague gave us loads of helpful recommendations. Good location for all the city attractions

Cons: Not ideal if you’re looking for a beach holiday as it’s about an hour on the bus, however this is advertised anyway

I could walk from this flat to anywhere because this is the center!

Pros: a lovely courtyard to relax in after exploring Palermo with a delightful wisteria pergola. All of Palermo’s central attractions are with in easy walking distance but quiet at night. Clean, comfortable and with everything you could need. Lots of information and maps provided. Close to cafes restaurants and supermarkets. Gaia and Samia were amazing hosts- very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Courtyard terrace was so peaceful and yet do near the busy part.

Pros: Ideal location to go to the main parts of Palermo.
