Pros: The apartment was spacious and in a fantastic location. The host was exceptionally kind, welcoming us with a bottle of wine and Sicilian sweets on arrival. Its proximity to the central station made getting around effortless, and we easily took several day trips outside Palermo thanks to the convenient access to public transport.

Cons: The frequent power trips were inconvenient, even a single kettle caused outages with nothing else on, and using multiple appliances like the stove or oven wasn’t possible without the electricity tripping out.

Pros: Beautifully decorated modern spacious and clean apartment. The host was extremely helpful and friendly, gave some recommendations of good places to eat.

Cons: Can be a bit noisy at night as situated next to a hospital.
