Appartamento Sul Golfo

Wonderful view and very clean apartment.

Pros: We really liked the balcony. It was very big and private. The view was amazing. When we were in the apartment, we spent most of the time here at the balcony. The fee parking was in front of the apartment and not busy. We paid €20 for our 8days which was reasonable and better than trying to find a space near by.

Cons: We wish it had a lift. I know this is our perspective but it was a quite an exercise to go up and down stairs but eventually I got used to it.

Castellammare del Golfo

Pros: This modern apartment ensure that you will have a fabulous time exploring the western part of the Sicilly. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, TV, WiFi, and a rooftop with spectacular views on the CASTELLAMMARE del Golfo and beyond. Apartament was very well prepared for our early check-in welcoming us with local sweets. Rosalinda, the host, recommended us sights to explore, local bakeries, and the public transport to use. Air-conditioning was very effective in cooling down such a bright, sun-exposed rooms. The rooftop includes an outdoor kitchen which allows you to do cooking, a dinner table with chairs to enjoy your meals and a pair of sunbeds for sunbathing. It takes approximately 10 minutes to town taking steps down to the marine, and a local bakery is just on the corner. It was a perfect stay. Grazie mille, Ciao!

Perfect base for exploring western Sicily

Pros: Everything was great: the location, the views, the owners were very helpful and kind. It is just a 5 minute walk to the city centre.

Cons: Not a critique but a tip: If you come by car, make sure to stay on the main (bigger) roads or drive to the appartment through Via Giglio. The small streets north of Via Giglio are ZTL zones and you will get fined. Don't forget the easypark app, it works great.

Awesome appartment in Castellammare del golfo

Pros: Everything was great: Rosalinda is super kind and flexible. The appartment is well distributed, comfortable, with an amazing terrace and all the necessary equipments. It's very well located in the city. All good really.

Great family spot with wonderful outside area and lovely host.

Pros: Really enjoyed staying here. The balcony was amazing and worth all the (many!) stairs to get up to the apartment. Lovely bakery two minutes down the road and the port is only a short walk away. Late evening pizza place close by if there’s a late arrival. Small shop close also. On street paid parking (€1/hr or €5/day, pay by app) in summer months or free on adjoining street. Host was extremely nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again with the family.

Pros: Very helpful hosts. Amazing balcony - we used it a lot even in late October. Well equipped kitchen. Good location 10 minutes walk from supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Also a great bakery just round the corner!

Pros: Big windows, great roof balcony, very new, very clean, excellently equipped kitchen incl italian coffee machine, very comfortable bed, great view, very nice hostess

Apartment with a wonderful view.

Pros: Beautiful, bright apartment. The view from the terrace is stunning. Close to a shop and a bakery. A well-equipped apartment allows for a comfortable stay. It's easy to find a parking space and at the same time close to the pedestrian zone. Rosalinda was a very helpful and communicative host.

Great apartment, great location

Pros: Great location, lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable. The shower was great, coffee maker a bonus, great outdoor balcony, efficient air con. Lovely views over the hills and coastline. Rosalinda gave us some great tips for laces to go and things to see. Bakery 2 minutes walk away and a small supermarket about the same distance. Some great restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk.

Cons: It would have been good if there had been more details of good local restaurants. The kitchen could do with a good bread knife as the local bakery had great unsliced bread. If I'm being really picky, the sheets on the bed were a bit bobbly and I think there was a waterproof sheet on the bed which was a bit noisy! Some ice in the freezer would also have been good and a few more toilet rolls.

Modern appartment with great rooftop terrace

Pros: Beautiful appartment with a great rooftop terrace. The appartment was obviousliy recently renovated; it is modern and well equipped. The pedestrian area begins close to the appartment - about 5 min on foot. The rooftop terrace is exceptional, huge, even equipped with an outdoor kitchen and offers a view over the town. Getting the keys was uncomplicated; Rosalinda was a very nice host.
