Enjoyable 🤗
Pros: Very nice apartment and balcony has a beautiful view on backyard with a lot of trees. Our host Giuseppe, made us a pdf guide for sightseeing, for restaurants and food and beaches. We got a coffee and water when we came. Everything was clean and we had everything we need. I recommend this place.

Our stay was okay. I never write negative reviews, this is the first time I actually felt dissapointed mainly by missing
Pros: The apartment was in a quiet, residential area, it was located in a one time modern, now somewhat unkept villa with lovely gardens, again, pity is that the house itself is falling apart, bricks and tiles crumbling, and it has fallen in disrepair. It does retain some old time charm though. Apartment itself is very clean albeit with daily need items of common sense missing, cleaning ladies we have met, were extremely helpful. We spent most of our time outdoors, but still I do suggest adding basics, such as a kettle, if you went to three or four people, two chairs are not enough, if one cooks a dinner or eats breakfast.. etc. Wifi signal for those needing to work was strong enough.
Cons: Cutlery was all broken. Metal bits of forks and spoons were detaching from the plastic handles and stayed in your mouth while trying to eat. Kitchen cloth missing, we used a towel instead. No wine glasses, I really don’t want to drink wine out of shot glasses. As I mentioned, four beds in one room versus only two chairs.

Good value for the price
Pros: The apartment was clean and tidy. Luxurious would be a strong word, but the furniture was of a higher standard than average. Especially the bed. The matress was soft, thick and bouncy 😉. Room was not missing any lightbulb or handle. Fridge was clean and a bottle of cold water was waiting inside. The manager was wery friendly and helpful, always in touch asking you if everything is alright.
Cons: The equipment of the kitchen was not complete. Cooking was a bit of a challenge, because there is only single induction plate so you cannot boil pasta and prepare sauce at the same time. The frying pan there was slightly scratched so when cooking, small bits of teflon got into the meals. There was no knife, cutting board or cheese grater. The location of the place is not perfect since it is far away from any beach that is not a private property. We were mostly visiting Kafara beach. Also the building from outside and the garden looked neglected for a few years. It could be 10/10 with a little bit of care.

Cons: Niets ernstig, maar het zou praktisch zijn als er vantevoren verteld wordt dat de airconditioning geactiveerd wordt met een aparte sleutel.

Pros: Le logement se trouve dans un environnement calme. La petite terrasse donne sur le jardin. C'est comme un petit studio. L'architecture de l'immeuble est très belle (genre style Corbusier). Très proche de la gare pour aller à Palerme sans voiture. Il y a des places dans la rue sans problème. Pas loin, 5 min en voiture, il y a un village de pêcheur Porticello avec des jolies plages.
Cons: J'ai voyagé en voiture en Sicile. J'ai cherché un endroit pour éviter la voiture à Palerme. Le logement est parfait pour cela. Mais, il faut le dire, on doit contrôler les heures de retour en train. Il faut juste s'organiser. Mais ça vaut la peine d'être sans voiture à Palerme.

Un buon compromesso
Pros: L' ampiezza dell appartamento e avere a disposizione uno stendino nel balcone comune. Il letto è comodo.Ho apprezzato anche l attenzione nel fare la raccolta differenziata. Nella via di fronte si trova bene o male sempre parcheggio
Cons: Lascerei qualche cialda in più di caffè..almeno una per ogni mattino di soggiorno. Capisco che non sia una cosa dovuta in un appartamento, ma se uno rimane più giorni è costretto a comprare una scatola intera di cialde che magari non può usare a casa propria. Da rivedere la pulizia sotto il letto, mentre per il resto era pulito.
