Castellammare Holiday

Pros: The owner was waiting us in front of the house. We made an agreement via whatsapp before our arrival. The owner was very nice, immediately available, if there was a problem with the water, he solved it within 10 minutes. In September, the place was very calm, the beach was empty, clean and maintained every day by a machine, the sea accessible and warm. The water flow in the shower was excellent, hot water was available without problems. Functional air conditioning, wifi, kitchen appliances. The shower outside worked just as well.

Cons: The bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable, the mattress behaved like a trampoline, there were unnecessary unused items stored in some places in the closets. The parking lot was small, we had a Toyota Yaris, but with more skill we learned to park very quickly by reversing into the spot.

A wonderful holiday, a great base for exploring western Sicily.

Pros: The location was great, we wanted a quiet area with direct access to the sea. There is a town nearby, 7 km away, with all amenities: restaurants, marina, fishing port, etc. Very nice hosts

Pros: The apartment is located in the middle of a km long line of houses on the sand dune above a sandy beach. The beach is not private but the plots of land on which the houses are located block access to the beach for anyone who is not in one of the houses. This means that you practically have an empty beach all to yourself all day and night. No need to reserve space on the beach with a towel or umbrella. And, even if the beach was full of people the water line is about 50 steps from the porch of the apartment.The apartment is equipped with everything you need (except maybe it could do with more than 2 coffee cups and bigger than for 1 person cofee maker)

Cons: -The sand dune is not kept clean. It is not totally covered with litter but there are some broken plastic crates or bottles here and there which spoil the view. Cleaning this up with minimum effort would make a huge difference to the perception of the surroundings. -On arrival (late evening) we found that there was NO toilet paper- lucky we had tissues and survived until morning. -The apartment offers towels, but we a 5 person family were given 2 normal big towels and the rest were small hand towels (each towel was a different size and colour and we could found them in drawers in different places) -The worst thing about the apartment is THE PARKING SPACE! The access road to the houses is barely wide enough for one car (but it’s a two way street). From this narrow road you have to drive into a driveway so small that our car (Audi Q5) was sticking out a couple of cm onto the road. You can forget about closing the gate when the car is parked. Entering and exiting the driveway was TRAUMATIC and it was a 15-20 min procedure every time. -the water drain in the shower did not work properly -In one of the bedrooms the blinds were broken and held in place by tying a string to the knob of the wardrobe -One of the kitchen cupboard doors was not fixed properly and was hanging tilted. - the railway line is located very close to apartment, but trains run rarely

Pros: Dom znajduje się dosłownie kilka kroków od plaży, jest nieskazitelnie czysty i wyposażony we wszelkie udogodnienia. Podziwianie zachodu słońca z balkonu przy lampce lokalnego wina jest bezcenne. Doskonały kontakt z gospodarzem. Gorąco polecam wszystkim szukającym relaksu i piękna.

L’appartamento è ben arredato, funzionale e molto pulito. La posizione è comoda per raggiungere facilmente Castellammare

Pros: La posizione è meravigliosa e permette di ammirare albe e tramonti davvero incantevoli.

Cons: I servizi igienici sono buoni, ma l’appartamento dispone di un solo bagno con doccia e bidet, non del tutto adeguato al numero di posti letto disponibili. Noi eravamo un gruppo di quattro amici e abbiamo dovuto organizzarci un po’ per gestire i tempi.

Pros: casa accogliente e direttamente sul mare.. km di spiaggia libera e con pochissime persone. i nostri cani hanno apprezzato la libertà e la possibilità di stare a mare senza dare fastidio a nessuno

Cons: purtroppo la vicinanza alla foce di un fiumiciattolo ha portato tanto terreno dopo una notte di pioggia e per due giorni il mare era impraticabile.. . ma è capitato e non è colpa di nessuno.. settembre può piovere e può capitare questo

La pace

Pros: La posizione dell’appartamento con una vista da togliere il fiato , la gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario.

Cons: Nulla

Très bien, appartement silencieux, proximité direct avec la mer

Pros: Appartement très bien situé, avec une très belle vue, Propre,

Cons: Légèrement humide et froid dans la pièce principale, surtout en hiver, il manque un chauffage , prévoir des chaussons

Pros: Lokalizacja przy samej plaży.Miejsce parkingowe i dwa tarasy z północy i południa. Blisko pięknego Castellammare del golfo . Mieszkanie przestronne, dobrze wyposażone, ogromny taras . Właściciel był bardzo pomocny.

Cons: Niewystarczająca ilość ciepłej wody w termie na kąpiel dla 5 osób jeden po drugim.
