Residence Guidaloca

Everything we hoped for - and more.

Pros: The room and bathroom were in proper condition. Clean and in order. The view is stunning, depending on which house you rent. Stove and gas burners work fine. All the furniture you desire on the terrasse, included a drying set. Green and fresh surroundings, bushes, rosemary, aloe vera, olive trees and various flowers. Welcoming hosts and friendly cleaners. Ten minutes walk to beautiful beach. Long and short walks in Nature Resort 5 minutes away. Several food shops, restaurants and cafes in nearby Castellamare del Golfo.

Cons: We misse a proper kitchen knife.

Pros: Great little huts in excellent location short walk to the beach. Wonderful staff and super comfortable chairs outside for relaxing.

Pros: Great territory and clean apartment, that had everything we needed

Cons: Small and not very comfortable shower. Also it would be great if the location had mosquito shield on windows

Pros: Giuseppe was an amazing host. This property is located close to the beach, although it is recommended to have a car to explore the town. Giuseppe was very accommodating and offered to drive us around. He also offered his boat tour @ Wildblueboat . An amazing day on board a beautiful boat with lunch and wine included for a great price !! The property is surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. A place to find tranquility and peace, every residence is tucked away so you have complete privacy from your fellow neighbors. There are even adorable igloo homes surrounded by trees, flowers, and fruit trees. Each space is very clean and cozy. If you don't know the italian language, don't worry Giuseppe speaks and understands multiple languages. Highly recommended !! There's no other place you'd want to stay. Pros: Beautiful location, excellent staff who assisted with our needs at all times.

Quiet, lovely, relaxing

Pros: The host was always kind, accommodating and happy to help. The beach was really close. They cooperates with some local restaurants, shops etc, so you can have guest discounts.

Cons: There's nothing I didn't like, but just as a positive criticism, that I already shared with the facility, they might think of putting up a small kids play area

Amazing Oasis in the north of Sicily

Pros: Its a beautiful compound located in Guidaloca, slightly isolated if that what you are looking for. Initially we rent the domes, but soon we realised it was too small for 3 adults and 1 baby but luckily they had one of the apartments available which was perfect! Manuella and Giusepe were incredible host, they gave us tons of information and recommendations for places to visit, eat, and buy wines...success guaranteed! Everything you need you can find it within 15min drive. Beaches, restaurants, markets, anything you need. Castellammare city on the East (great public beach, tons of food options). San Vito Lo Capo (probably a highlight of a beach) on the west (45min drive). And Scopello, beautiful little village 5min drive, a must on weekends, full of life and food options.

We had a lovely peaceful stay in an area of outstanding beauty.

Pros: A beautiful peaceful location with the lovely Guidaloca beach in walking distance. The little domes are well set up in a garden setting. The staff, especially Giuseppe and Rosella, were lovely. The beach at Guidaloca is beautiful and Lisa's Terraza sul Mare serves drinks and food with an amazing view.

Cons: If you don't have a car the nearest supermarket is a 40 minute walk up a winding steep road. Transfers from the train station and to the supermarket are available but at a price and the price isn't mentioned beforehand. Nevertheless we appreciated the support from the staff. The shower cubicle is tiny but there is an outdoor shower.

All in all a great holiday spot sad we only stayed there for a few days and not longer :)

Pros: A great spot to relax and feel the holiday spirit! Enjoyed the outdoor garden area!

Cons: Shower felt a bit compact compared to how spacious the bathroom is and same with the bed.

Highly recommend

Pros: Close to beach, set in lovely gardens. Off street parking.

Cons: Privacy from other cottages
